The Theocratic Warrior & The Truth Regarding Blood

There may come a time in each of our lives, we come face to face with a medical emergency that may require the receiving of a blood transfusion. Scripture tells us that “Life is in the blood” Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. King James Version (KJV)

Why do theocratic warriors confuse the issue of living, by stating you must not have a blood transfusion? I have lost a brother, seen the tragic results in a sister, because of a refusal of receiving a blood transfusion. Here are just a couple examples of the deception found deep with the theocratic warrior; “But suppose one’s wife or child were near death. Giving blood, no matter who the loved one might be, would still constitute a violation of God’s law. Just because one is near death, this does not give one liberty to break God’s commands. When one is near death is no time to tamper with or violate the law of God, but a time to draw as near as possible to God by remaining faithful. Everlasting life is the reward for faithfulness. How foolish it would be to gamble away the prospect of life eternal for the very uncertain promise of a cure by blood transfusion!” Watchtower 1970 Apr 15 p.249

“What if a Christian is badly injured or is in need of major surgery? Suppose doctors say that he must have a blood transfusion or he will die. Or course, the Christian would not want to die… Would a Christian break God’s law just to stay alive a little longer in this system of things? Jesus said: “Whoever wants to save his soul [or, life] will lose it; but whoever loses his soul for my sake will find it.” (Matthew 16:25) We do not want to die. But if we tried to save our present life by breaking God’s law, we would be in danger of losing everlasting life.” What Does The Bible Really Teach (2005) pp.130-131

So what does the Word actually say, can you accept a blood transfusion without violating the Word and the law of God? Would God really want you to die instead of living as a source of victory for Him here? The theocratic warrior will always tell you it is the “Law” that requires you to follow that mandate, “not to consume blood.” Whether you inject via a needle or actually eat it, it is the same thing and we “must never” violate the law. Life is secondary to the law.

So we look deeper into the truth of the matter, first, regarding this law Jewish law states, “a person must do everything in their power to save the life of another, even donate bodily organs.” Does this not override a policy that stops the life saving operation of transfusing blood?

Time after time we see Jesus using the gift of life to override policies of the law, we see Him override the law, but healing an unclean woman, witch incidentally had a blood problem.  Luke 8:43-48 And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, 44 Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched. 45 And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? 46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me. 47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately. 48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace. King James Version (KJV) The law requires that no one could even touch her, Jesus healed her, life was more important than the law.

The theocratic warrior focuses on the eating of the blood of the animal that gave its life for the sacrifice (witch there are many) yet, they neglect to mention that this scripture is specific to animals that are being sacrificed at the moment. Acts 15:29  That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well. King James Version (KJV)

The theocratic warrior defends this stance as faith in their belief, it may bring death, but leads to a better, more prefect life under theocratic rule by God. Yet, like most of the trickery the theocratic warrior performs, this the most serious of events, it proves their double standard and is a very deadly deception. Look at what they say about suicide, and yes, choosing to die by the refusal of blood is a form of suicide.c/f  https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/2002447, “As Christians, we are interested in how Jehovah views suicide. To Jehovah human life is precious and sacred. (Genesis 9:5; Psalm 36:9) The intentional killing of oneself is self-murder, and it is therefore displeasing in God’s eyes. (Exodus 20:13; 1 John 3:15)”

The refusal of blood, knowing it will lead to your death, is suicide, and if it is a parent refusing on behalf of a child, could that not be considered murder? No one has the right take the life of another. I have had one brother who took his life because of his disfellowshiping and the horrendous results of that action. A few short weeks later, another brother lost his life for refusing a blood transfusion, which one committed suicide? I say, both. One from a broken heart and the other from a heart that was broken, the theocratic warrior deception lead to the two lives being lost.

In a religion, where neither heaven or hell exists, where is the downside of dying either by your hand, or, your decision to refuse the blood? Theocratic warriors will give list after list of what could possibly be wrong with the blood being transfused, should we not fairly ask, what could be worse than losing your life from refusing the transfusion? While they “now” permit use of “blood fractions” which are made from whole blood, they at one time forbade such a use, yet they have and do permit inoculations for various diseases, I received mine for tetanus, hepatitis, measles, mumps, and whooping cough as a child, providing evidence of their deception in their decision making, one cannot accept the same whole blood before it is processed into the fractions, yet they can receive that same blood broken down into fractions and into inoculations?  They can transfuse blood from their kidney dialysis machine, as it is not stored blood, yet it is still a type of transfusion, they waver in too many areas when it comes to their “blood doctrine”.They may argue that “no-one has ever died from refusing a transfusion, but, rather, from a disease or other emergency that simply required blood,”the lack of blood will kill,” any doctor will tell you this, so the argument is without merit, drain the blood from any living creature and it dies.

Theocratic warriors will tell you that there is a greater risk of receiving some other disease via the transfusion, again this is a deception, while the possibilities do exist, the odds are greater that you will be struck by lightning than contracting a disease via a blood transfusion. However, when a doctor declares that death is going to take place without a transfusion, then the risk has just become a fact, don’t take the risk.

What do we consider the greatest law given in scripture, Jesus states:  Mark 12:30-31 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.” King James Version (KJV) The lover of God, keeps His instructions, He did not offer Christ as a “Living” sacrifice so that we would reject it by giving up our life for what is truly against His word, look at: Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: King James Version (KJV) Choose life, choose life, why, so you can live, live for your family, live for your ministry, live for God. This is love walk, this is the covenant that Jehovah would have you live by, that which pleases Him, choosing life that you may serve Him. No one is served well by choosing death, Isaiah 56:4-7 For thus saith the Lord unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant; 5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off. 6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the Lord, to serve him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant; 7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people. King James Version (KJV)

The greatest blood transfusion of course was the very one that Jesus gave to us. So let us take a look at that, for there is where Life in Christ flows.

Isaiah 53

1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?

2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.” King James Version (KJV)

We all know who that this is a foretelling of, it is referring to Jesus and the horrendous sacrifice He would endure on our behalf.

Knowing what He was about to face, He went to the Garden of Gethesame for solitude and prayer. Here He began His transfusion, pouring out His blood for us that we may live for Him. Experiencing, hemorrhagia percutem (sweat that contains blood) due to intense emotion that affects the autonomic nervous system, He knew the tremendous events that were about to take place, His emotions were at their highest levels of anxiety. Here He deals with every mental problem man would ever experience, here all Anxiety, Panic Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Eating Disorders, Schizophrenia, and every other disease or disorder, all Substance Abuse or Addiction is defeated, He, sweating great drops of blood to do it. Luke 22:44 “And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.” King James Version (KJV)

He is arrested here in the garden, and brought before the courts, the Jews and the Romans.

John 19:1-6 “Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him. 2 And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe, 3 And said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote him with their hands. 4 Pilate therefore went forth again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in him. 5 Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man! 6 When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him.”   King James Version (KJV)

What Jesus did for us, we could not repay, the scourging of Jesus, left Him unrecognizable.  The striking of Jesus was not just a slap on the face,  no, they use a closed fist when they hit Him using all their strength, over and over again and again. This beating was done for us.  All too often, we view the beating of Christs’ body far too lightly. The striking Him with the fist was just the beginning of what He would endure.

After beating Him with their fists, they placed a crown of thorns upon His head, This crown had two inch thorns that they forced down into His skull, cutting into the two main nerves in the head. He would experience brutal facial pain, problems swallowing, talking, body temperature changes. Piercing pain around the eyes, the forehead, the upper lip, nose, cheeks, the side of the tongue and the lower lip. It is said to be the worst pain that anyone could have experience, compare it to having 10 abscess teeth along with a Hemiplegic Migraine and multiple those by one thousand, if you can, you would still have no idea of the pain.

This crown was used more degrade and mock Him. The low ranking soldiers wanted to express their disdain for Him, having heard Him referred to as the “King of the Jews” they wanted to give Him a suitable crown for those they had hatred for. This title infuriated the Jews, they sought to have it removed from the cross, Pilate refused, in doing so he showed the world the Messiah. It is important to note, that part of the curse that was placed upon Adam was that the ground would produce thorns and thistles, here Jesus takes that curse, removing the hardship of providing for your family. Before His whipping, before the cross, he took care of your financial needs, what you sow (your job) will grow, when it is turned over to Him. He is King, over your need, so there can be no lack in Him, He wore the crown to release the curse. Soon His crown of thorns would be turned into a crown of Glory, the glory that He shines down upon us. Hebrews 2:9 “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.” King James Version (KJV)

Then the scourging took place, this was not just a whipping of 39 lashes, but consider the flagrum, a precise instrument with a purpose to reduce a person to as close to death as possible, but not to kill. Each strand of the whip (3-9 strands) had bits of sharp metal balls or bone attached to it, So with each stroke it would tear the flesh, removing portions of skin and muscle, damage nerves and breakdown muscle, the blood letting would be unspeakable. One writer claims that Jesus was reduced to “human rubble”. Each strike, “stripe” was pre-planned, each one represented healing for you, what sickness or disease do you need freedom from? The cost of the healing has already been paid by these, the bloodshed and its healing power transferred to you. Jewish law forbade more than 40 strikes of the whip, however the Romans had no such law, so we have no idea how many times the Roman let that whip fly, nor how many strands were attached to the whip, many believe there were nine, so if we go by Jewish law and the nine strands, they would have beat Him 351 times. Of the 7,000 rare diseases known to man, they are categorized into 350 groups, Christ taking those diseases and offering the healing for each and every one, before the cross. This was not done that we may reject life, but that we may live our life in Him, He transfused us with His blood, our acceptance of Him as Savior finishes that transfusion.

After the flagellation, completely exhausted and dehydrated, his flesh mangled and ripped,  internal organs certainly damaged, fighting off hypovolemic shock, in hematidrosis, hemorrhaging from His wounds, vomiting, and suffering diaphoresis, this man is now made to carry His Cross. A man of 85 kg (187 lbs) made to carry at 150 kg (330 lb.) instrument of torture may have been able to do so down the 1/3 of a mile Golgotha, but in the Lord’s condition, in His suffering, this was a great challenged, so a man of Cyrene, Simon, was conscripted to assist, together they carried that cross. Here is an example of how we should share in the deepest, darkest needs of others, something for another lesson at another time.

The cross used in Roman crucifixions consisted of two parts: “the upright or mortise, referred to as the stipes, or staticulum, and the tenon or crosspiece, which is called the patibulum or antenna.” Historic information shows that the stipes were already in position at Calvary. Jesus carried the crosspiece. At Calvary, He was nailed to the crosspiece, which was then placed into a rectangular notch carved into the tip of the stipes. Then drop with great force into a hole to hold it upright, jarring the weakened body and causing a rush of pain throughout the whole body. (This also shows the theocratic warriors deception that Christ died on a stake and not the Cross, to be untrue.)

After all this, they would nail Him to this cross, nails would have been made of heavy, square shaped iron, 7-9 inches long, driven into His wrists and feet, they offered Him a drink of wine mixed with myrrh to act as a mild pain killer, but this He refused. The excruciating pain from the nails being driven through the flesh, nerves, and sinew, causing much blood to flow, how many die from cutting their wrists? His, pushing of His body, up and down on the cross, just to breath would cause Him to lose more blood by aggravating the flogging wounds, creating more pain.

Now they offer Him wine and vinegar attached to a Hyssop branch, this He takes, for He is Lamb offered as a way to salvation. When the death angel came to free the Israelite’s they were commanded to paint the doorway arches with blood of a lamb using a hyssop branch, representing their salvation as this angel passed over. The hyssop was used to cleanse a leper, the most fear of diseases, or, to cleanse anyone who handled a dead body. At death, Christ knew all this was happening and He received the wine and vinegar, stating, “I have brought salvation, I have cleansed my people from the dread of illness, I have defeated death”. Compelling us to receive His blood bought victory, now, He dies.

John 19:28-30 “After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst. 29 Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth.30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.” King James Version (KJV)

Theories about the cause of His death are asphyxiation, heart attack or rupture, or shock, while any one or all of these are a possibility we never forget that none are why He died, just a symptom, He died because He chose to, He freely gave His life so we could have ours. John 10:17-18 “Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. 18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.” King James Version (KJV)

Yet there was just one more event that happened while He was upon the Cross, the soldier who drove a spear up into His side, why? The heart chamber would have been filled with blood at the time of death, as well Jesus would have fluid around the lungs, (pleural effusion) because of the flogging He suffered. To be sure He was dead, the spear was driven into His side and the blood and other fluids poured forth. Why was this horrendous transfusion required, look at these verses, All King James Version (KJV):

Leviticus 17:11 “For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.” Atonement: the reconciliation of God and humankind, especially as accomplished through the life, suffering, and death of Christ. A transfusion of the God kind of life in man, via the blood shed by Christ.

1 John 1:7 “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”

Hebrews 9:14 “How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”

Colossians 1:20 “And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.”

In Gethesame, He suffered with hemorrhagia percutem, it manifests in sweat that contains blood or blood pigments. Then the beating of fists, drew blood, as did the crown of thorns, certainly the flagging of His entire body. The nailing to the cross, through hands, feet and puncturing His side all drew blood, more blood, this He freely did that we may have life, His life, the God kind of life, are we to allow the theocratic warriors to steal that life from us by a few select scriptures that actually contradict the great plan of God? The deception worked, many have given their lives up for such a deception.

This transfusion is something we take part in, we call it Comunoin, usually not often enough, but we should, the theocratic warrior system also forbids this too, it keeps them locked away from life,

1 Corinthians 11:23-30 “For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:

24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.

27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.

29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.

30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.” King James Version (KJV)

He is a personal God, which means He is mine and yours.  Do you take Him personally or does He just serve everyone else?  To have the victory in your life, you need to take Him personally. The Blood and the Body of Jesus is a personal transfer of Life to you. Christ is no longer dead! He is risen and is alive.  Therefore, He can accomplish His Word in you when you partake in this transfusion.  John 6:55-58 “For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. 56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. 58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. King James Version (KJV)

THE CUP OF BLOOD

The cup represents the broken body of Christ for our healing.  If you require healing, partaking in the cup is the time to receive that healing.  Remember, healing is not just physical. It’s mental, soulish and spiritual; where ever you require it in your body, healing can be yours.

We pray,  “Father, we thank you, Your Word declares that by the stripes of Jesus, we were healed.  Lord, that is past tense, that it is a completed contract.  Father, when Christ  said it is finished, this is what He meant, there was  nothing more that needed to be done.  All we need do Lord, is  trust.  So we trust and thank you, that the broken body of Christ will set us free and will bring us healing. So Lord, we thank you for it, we  receive this in the Name of Jesus. Amen”

Praise God and thank Jesus for what He has done, what He will continue to do in your life.  Communion, when taken properly, will set you free.

What did the shed Blood of Jesus do?  Blood began to flow as they forced the crown of thorns down upon His head. As the spikes were driven through His hands and feet, His blood flowed out and dripped on the ground.  They drove a spear into His side.  Every drop of Blood and water flowed from Him.  Christ is not in heaven with flesh and blood.  He said, look flesh and bone, handle  me, His blood was left here on earth so that we may make use of it. (Luke 24:39).  The blessing of the blood;

  1. Atonement, The word in Hebrew means to cover, to appease the anger of another, to cancel, to cleanse, to annul, to forgive, to  pacify, to pardon and to reconcile.  The word in the Greek means to exchange, to restore to divine favor.  Reconciliation.  Atonement, found only once in the New Testament, but found 80 times in the Bible.

Romans 5:6-11 “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.” King James Version (KJV)

  1. Remittance of our sins. Interesting also, the word remission only appears in the New Testament ten times, it means to pardon, deliverance, forgiveness, liberty and tolerance.

Matthew 26:26-28 “And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. 27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; 28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” King James Version (KJV)

The Blood of Jesus brought remission of sins. He took them away, gave us forgiveness, setting us at liberty. Remember when you take part in the transfusion, communion, sin no longer has  control over your life.  Victory is yours.  Deliverance is  yours. Acts 2:38-39 “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. King James Version (KJV)

This scripture answers the question of whether or not, we  are to receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit.         We were one of the ones who were afar at that time.  The same healing, atoning, sin remitting of His blood is ours. Take part in it and hold onto it as required. Make use of it, put it in your remembrance.

  1. Brings life and brings peace. Colossians 1:20-21 “And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. 21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled.” King James Version (KJV)

Listen to your heart, quit making excuses or ideas in your head, the blood transfused into your heart provides the God kind of peace, so your decisions follow after His plan for you, a perfect plan.  The blood actually lets you have faith in you too, if you condemn yourself, then you cannot accomplish that great plan of God for you.”There is therefore now no condemnation to those  who are in Christ Jesus” Romans 8:1.

The Blood of Jesus Christ gives you life and peace if you stay in the Word, it is the redemptive power of peace. The redemptive power of the Word and the Name can only come by the Blood of Jesus.  Without the blood of Christ in your heart, you do not understand redemption, with it you are free. 1 Peter 1:18-19 “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:” King James Version (KJV) We are the redeemed!  Redeemed means  purchased, bought   back, caught away from the works of the enemy.  The Blood redeems us.  It atones, remits sin, gives peace and life, brings redemption and brings justification to us.

That is to be shown as innocent and righteous. Jesus bought back our innocence.  We stand innocent before God.  No longer does He view our sins. Washed in the Blood of Jesus, He cannot pronounce us guilty.  Jesus is our advocate with the Father.  We are innocent by the Blood of Christ.  Don’t let anyone deceive you into believing that you face judgement for your sins.  Under the atoning Blood of Christ, He sees you as innocent.  The  judgement you will face is for the works you perform for Christ. Surely refusing a transfusion to save and therefore limiting your life will cause you to lesser works, therefore a lesser effect in others lives as well.

  1. Justification, Galatians 3:6-7 “Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. 7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.” King James Version (KJV) You are Abraham’s child. Know that you are one of they which are of faith, that qualifies you as that child of Abraham.  The Blood of Jesus qualified you not Abraham. Galatians 3:8 “And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.” King James Version (KJV)

God preached the gospel to Abraham. “Abraham, you are going to be responsible for all these children of faith.” He told him. Abraham chose to live by faith, when it was good, when it wasn’t, faith still was the way he lived, so too it should be the way we live. His blood, makes that possible for us to do. Galatians 3:9-14 “So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. 10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. 11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. 12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. 13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” King James Version (KJV)

We are Justified by faith and the Blood of Jesus, you do not need to walk under the curse any longer. Walk in the redeeming power of it.  Romans 5:16-18 “And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. 17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) 18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.” King James Version (KJV)

  1. The blood brings us closer (nigh.) Nigh means that the Blood of Jesus brought you near and  brought you into the very presence of Him. Ephesians 2:13-14 “But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;” King James Version (KJV)

There was once a barrier, a wall between you and God, when Christ died on the cross, when He shed His Blood, the wall came down. The barrier was broken, allowing you to walk directly into the throne room of grace. Ephesians 2:15-18 “Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; 16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: 17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. 18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.” King James Version (KJV) We are brought nigh, the Blood gave us atonement, remittance of sins, life and peace, redemption, justification and closer to God.  It doesn’t send us off drifting away.

  1. A pure conscience. Hebrews 9:12-14 “Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. 13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: 14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” King James Version (KJV) The Blood purged your conscience. To purge something means to clean it and take it out, that is what the Blood of Christ does, it purges out all the filth brought by Satan, cleaning up your conscience.

Paul said. “I have wronged no man.”  Have you  ever wondered how could he really say that.  Paul held the coats of the men who stoned and killed Stephen.  He was on the road heading for Damascus to find Christians to jail or worse.  How could he say, “I have wronged no man.”  Receiving Jesus and by accepting His Blood, Paul became a new  man.  The Blood of Jesus purged his conscience.

Your past life has no bearing on you whatsoever.  The Blood of Jesus will clean your conscience.  It matters not what you are , or, were like, what does matter is, in whom you are.  You only get to be in Him by His transfused Blood.   Isaiah 1:18-20 “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. 19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:” King James Version (KJV)

Then in verse 20 “But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.” Don’t be like the theocratic warrior, don’t rebel against the Blood of Jesus.

“Come let us reason together.”  What is God’s reasoning? He knows all you have done, and, will do. Is your conscience is clear, it can be, by taking part in the shed blood of Christ, through communion, a transfusion of His blood into your life. The Blood of Jesus washes away your sin so you have a pure clean conscience.”

  1. Sanctification, sanctification means purification and Holiness. The Blood of Christ is our purifying force. When disease, sickness, mental stress, anxiety and grief, come at you, remember Christ sanctified you through His Blood. That happens not by anything you did, but by everything that He did. 1 Corinthians 1:17-31 “For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. 18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. 22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: 23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; 24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. 25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. 26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: 27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: 29 That no flesh should glory in his presence. 30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: 31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.” King James Version (KJV)

Jesus perfected, sanctified and made pure us forever by His blood.

  1. A new covenant. The shed blood brought us the new covenant with Christ. Matthew 26:28 “For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. says, For this is my blood of the new testament (covenant).” King James Version (KJV)

We are no longer under a covenant of works (the old law), but under a covenant of righteousness, bought by the Blood. Hebrews 10:29 “Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?” King James Version (KJV)

The Blood is a new covenant of faith and of grace. We do not have to work for it, yet we should want to work.  Unlike theocratic warriors, we need not knock on doors, or some others who sell flowers in airports to work our way into heaven. Knowing you are heaven bound already, you should want to please God by winning others into His kingdom.  If it is good enough for Paul and the apostles, it  is good enough for you and I too.  If God can save a guy like Paul, or me, how much easier can He save a person like you.  That is a covenant on which we can stand.

Hebrews 13:20-21 “Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, 21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” King James Version (KJV)

  1. A new birth, Christ redeemed us, bought us back, recreated, we were reborn because of His precious Blood. 1 Peter 1:18-19 “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:” King James Version (KJV)

The power of Love sent Christ to the Cross, the power of His blood shed, because He loves us allows us to accept Him as ours, a redeemer in and for everything and anything we may face or need. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever shall     believe on him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16  The whosoever is me and its you.  God loved us so much that He gave Christ.  That’s a new birth.

  1. The Blood brings overcoming power, through the Blood, we overcome the enemy, applying His Blood brings protection, brings us victory in every battle we face. Revelation 12:11 “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”  King James Version (KJV)  Giving testimonies of your victories, declares the power of the blood washed redemption, without realizing it, you overcome the enemy in other people’s lives. Every time you speak of the Love of God (testify) you crush the head of the enemy, every time you tell someone God loves you, He will take good care of you, you testify, crushing the works of the enemy.

My favorite song is, Let the redeemed of the Lord SAY so. Many of us are saying nothing, declare even the smallest thing, it is a victory that will build your and others faith, it will assist in defeating the enemy. If satan can withhold even five dollars from you when you need it, he wins, don’t let him win..Believe God, claim the redeeming power of the Blood get the victory for the 5.00, even the smallest victory is a victory. Do you think God laughs at you when you received that $5.OO that you needed. “It’s only $5.00, I don’t want to testify that” you say. Why!  That $5.00 may lead to the $500.00 when you need it. It takes the Blood of Jesus to give the power to defeat the enemy. Start where you’re at, build on each victory, rise up, testify and beat Satan in the head again.

  1. The Blood establishes the church, and is the only basis for church membership. Jesus bought and redeemed you, then you became a member of the body of Christ, (that is the church) you are already a member. The choice is not yours.   When one of you hurts, everyone hurts.  Again, we go back to the reason to testify because it brings healing to the body, the members. One member is not any more important than any other member. We are all part of the body and Christ is the head.  His word has done all the thinking for us.  Follow it. Acts 20:28-32 “Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. 29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. 31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. 32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.”  King James Version (KJV)

It’s the Blood which sanctifies.  We are not looking for disciples, or looking for building up those who need encouragement and victory, to stop blaming God and start praising Him. We are looking to see people set free, as God’s people, you are responsible for what you learn from this book, my responsibility is to teach it to you, truth, not my opinion, but the Word says, nothing more.  You act on it, the Blood establishes it, the church is brought into victory by God confirming His Word. Mark 16:15-20 “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. 19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. 20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.” King James Version (KJV)

Finally,

  1. The blood brings salvation, the only way into the presence of God and to salvation is through the shed Blood of Jesus. Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, You do it because you take part in the Blood of Jesus. Romans 8:8-17 “So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. 12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.” King James Version (KJV)

Take part in the cup transfusing the Blood of Jesus into your heart and life, says this prayer then rejoice, “Heavenly Father, we thank you and praise you for Jesus Christ who came down from heaven and was born of human flesh, who offered  Himself a sacrifice for our sins.  His shed Blood was for the  remission of my sin and I will remember that this day. Not  remembering our sin, but remembering the atonement for that sin. Jesus washed my sins and made them whiter than snow.  We worship and praise you this day for the Blood  of Jesus who cleansed me and made me whiter than snow.  He  made me acceptable in the your love.  I thank you. As I take  this emblem of the blood, I remember your death and will remember it until You come and I am looking forward to your coming in Jesus name.”

Nest week we wrap with a deep look at the “Law”.
