As we have previously stated, The Watchtower Bible & Tract Society (AKA, Jehovah’s Witnesses) have a doctrine that justifies, and allows them to deliberately “lie” in court, at the doors, and to the people they meet in their so called “ministry”. They term this sanctioned lying as “Theocratic Warfare”, they become the theocratic warrior, we have shown this from their own writing and printed material, as well as actual court cases.
Of course scripture gives us a clear warning of groups and people like this and that we certainly should stay clear of such. Romans 3:10-13 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: 11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. 12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. 13 Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: King James Version (KJV) Those of who have suffered under their heavy hand, and dangerous doctrine and who have been blessed by their act of disfellowshipping have come to learn what the Latin term: Falsus in Uno, Falsus in Omnibus, False in one thing, false in all. Religion and Faith is the true place we must go to, to build ourselves up and strengthen our belief in God. However, if the leaders of that faith are liars, not only liars but advocate the practice of lying, how can it be trusted to lead one to redemption?
If one doctrine is false, then all must be viewed as false. If one cannot be trusted, then none can be trusted. Exodus 20:16 “You shall not testify falsely [that is, lie, withhold, or manipulate the truth] against your neighbor (any person).” Amplified Bible (AMP) There is no codicil, that states “its okay to lie when you believe it will prove a belief, or defend your faith. The moment the lie is spoken is the moment the faith is nullified and of no value. Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that the Bible, all 66 books of the Hebrew and Greek Scriptures (the Old and New Testaments), is the inspired, infallible word of God. The Bible contains “the truth”—everything humans need to know to please God and gain eternal life. In fact, this is why they state that they belong to “The Truth”, yet that nick name is of no significance as they also practice the Theocratic Warfare doctrine. False in one thing, false in all.
As subjects of God’s government, or Kingdom, Jehovah’s Witnesses believe they should “witness” about it to others. They should give its laws priority, so with this in mind let us look to the “law” so we may be faithful to it and not be found false. Look at their own words, the opening paragraph of their “Let God Be True” book, (long consider the book that established their doctrine)
“MORE and more the eyes of honest-hearted men and women are getting open to see the world’s religious confusion and the inconsistency of the religious leaders who say one thing and do another. Thinking that those religionists represent and speak for God, many sincere persons begin to wonder if any truth at all exists on earth. They come to the frame of mind of a man of old who wrote in his disappointment: “I indeed said in my despondency, Every man is a liar.”* They are discouraged and sigh within themselves. Doubtless, though, when they hear the pure ring of the truth sounding forth from the right source, despite earth’s religious jangling, they will recognize it and will gladly accept and hold it.” pg 7, par 1, * Quoted from the Bible, at Psalm 116 : 11, Leeser’s translation
So under the Theocratic Warfare system, there can be no ring of truth, they discourage, and produce “religious jangling”. On the next pages of the same book, “To arrive at truth we must dismiss religious prejudices from heart and mind. We must let God speak for himself. Any other course would lead only to further confusion. What if men, religious and non-religious, have discredited and belittled the Bible and have placed their own or other men’s opinions and traditions above the Bible? What if religious leaders have rejected the Bible’s straight testimony? What if the highly esteemed clergy of “Christendom” have been found false and misleading? Do these shocking and disappointing facts change the Bible itself or its message of truth? Sound thinking assures us that the true and living God must have given searching mankind some inspired written revelation about Himself. That being so, then let our stand be that of one of the writers of the Bible who said: “What if some were without faith? shall their want of faith make of none effect the faithfulness of God? God forbid: yea, LET GOD BE FOUND TRUE, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy words, and mightest prevail when thou comest into judgment.”* Let God Be True, ©1946, pages 8-9 *Quoted from Romans 3 :3,4, American Standard Version.
Here we see, in their own words, the fact that their Theocratic Warfare doctrine is one that is truly foul. They have forgotten the name by which they operate, Jehovah, but with Him and within Him there cannot be found a lie, no, not even the thought of lying. Hebrews 6:18-19 “That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: 19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;” King James Version (KJV) Why can God not lie, it is because every word that proceeds from His mouth happens, the very reason we cling to and speak forth His promises, His Word. What are the two immutable things? The first is His Word, He gives it, He will not change what He has spoken, God won’t change His mind, His promise is not capable of or susceptible to change. He cannot change His mind. The other is what is has spoken or promised “will” take place. Every promise of God has a fulfillment, He swore by Himself, since there is no one greater than Himself, he will not allow His name to become of no worth, by it, all is complete. The Theocratic Warrior must begin to heed their namesakes example, no lie must ever pass their lips, even if the spoken truth tears down one their many false doctrines.
The Theocratic Warrior believes the law was abolished, that under grace, one has a new less restrictive life, they state;
“ONE of the foremost students of Theocratic law the apostle Paul wrote to the Christians at Rome: “Ye are not under the law but under grace.” (Romans 6 : 14) To the Hebrew Christians in general he wrote “A previous command is set aside on account of its weakness and uselessness (for the Law made nothing perfect) and there is introduced a better Hope by means of which we can draw near to God.” Hebrews 7 : 18 19 Moffatt.
To make certain whose law it was that was set aside or abolished Paul wrote to the uncircumcised Gentile Christians at Ephesus saying : “So remember that you were once physically heathen and called uncircumcised by those who called themselves circumcised though only physically by human hands. At that time you had no connection with Christ you were aliens to the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the agreements about God s promise; with no hope and no God in all the world. But now through your union with Christ Jesus you who were once far away have through the blood of Christ been brought near. For he is himself our peace. He has united the two divisions, and broken down the barrier that kept us apart, and through his human nature put an end to the feud between us [Jews and Gentiles], and ABOLISHED THE LAW with its rules and regulations, in order to make peace and create out of the two parties one new man by uniting them with himself, and to kill the feud [or the enmity] between them with his cross and in one body reconcile them both to God with it .” (Ephesians 2 : 11-16, Goodspeed) This proves it was Jehovah’s law that was annulled or abolished.- See also Colossians 2 : 13-17, to show further that no mere man blotted out the law of God here concerned .
‘The law that was nailed to the tree of Christ’s death was the Mosaic law. It is called “the law of Moses”, not because he originated it ; for Moses did not do so . But it was because he was the go-between in handing over the law from God to the nation of Israel . (Exodus 34 : 27,28 ; John 1 : 17) The “law” being Theocratic and being given under glorious, aweinspiring conditions at Mount Horeb, it would seem to be perpetual, everlasting, beyond recall, as eternal as its Lawgiver . So it causes many to be amazed when informed that such law was abolished and brought to an end by Jehovah, and that no creatures on earth, not even the Jews, are any longer under it . Some religionists, fearing that such abolition of all the law covenant must produce bad moral effects, put up a strange argument . They claim two laws were given to the Jews, (1) God’s law, written by Him, and (2) Moses’ law, written by him . They claim the one was the moral law and the other was the ceremonial law ; and that the ceremonial law was abolished, but not the moral law contained in the Ten Commandments . They claim that in saying to Christians, “Ye are not under the law, but under grace,” Paul meant the ceremonial law, not the Ten Commandments including the sabbath law.” Let God Be True, ©1946, pages 170-172
The first thing that grips our hearts is the reality of the law. Its purpose is not to bring us into bondage, but to release from Satanic servitude. The law does not confine us, it does just the opposite, it frees us. We must never forget Jesus’ words regarding His mission that centered on the law. Matthew 5:17-18, “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am come not to destroy but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled”. King James Version
There can never be any doubt, that the Word of God is not forever settled in heaven, it is, therefore it should be forever settled in our hearts, as well. Everything on earth, everything in heaven, operates according to the divine law that God has established for it. Why then do we rebel against a plan that is pure perfection, could it be we are just foolish, choosing not to allow the Word of God to have its rightful place in our hearts? Psalm 119:89-93, “Forever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven. Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth. They continue this according to thine ordinances: for they all are thy servants. Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction. I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou has quickened me”. King James Version (KJV)
The Theocratic Warrior today is condemning the law of God, they are more than just misunderstood, they are wrong. As Jesus Christ fulfills the law of the Lord, every covenant, every promise made therein becomes our way to freedom, deliverance, health and prosperity. These come into our lives by the words we speak, God acts, as does His angels on His Word spoken from your mouth, Daniel 10:12 “Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.” King James Version (KJV) Your words are heard, where they count, speak those words and see the hand of God move greatly, on your behalf.
What has been considered by some as restrictions on their way of life, is actually the way to liberty, certainly when received through the knowledge within the law. It is the most ignorant (unlearned) who reject the law, after all, if it is the way, the instructions and teachings of God, why would any reject it? Only those deluded by Satan could possibly do so, only those who have given their lives over to the way of the flesh find little value in living a life of uncompromising integrity that comes from the Word of God.
Many have forgotten that the law of the Lord is exactly that, His way of directing and instructing, therefore it is Him performing His covenant and fulfilling His promises in our lives, causing us to become completely dependent upon Him. Psalm 19:7-11, “The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure making wise the simple. The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever: the judgements of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them is great reward”. King James Version (KJV)
The law is described here in various words causing differing blessing to come as they are accompanied by a specific promise.
Vs.7,The law,Perfection, Conversion of the soul
Vs.7, The testimony,Surety, Wisdom
Vs.8,The statutes, Rightstanding, Exultation of the heart
Vs.8, The commandments, Purity, Enlightenment of the mind
Vs.9, The fear, (request), Cleanliness, Patience for eternity
Vs.9, The judgement, Truth, Righteousness
From these, we quickly learn that the intent of God is that those who will be dedicated to the Law of the Lord, will live in blessing and the fulfillment of His promise. Notice that none is given to cause affliction, rather, all are given for your benefit. The resulting factor is that when they are taken in the manner in which they are given, they become sweet, tasty, a tool of protection, the way to the rewards of God. The outpouring of God grace.
Anyone who would make the false claim that God is doing nothing for them on their behalf is certainly not following the law of the Lord. We can be certain of this one thing, those who are faithful to the Law of the Lord, or who live according to it, are sure to see their lives come into complete harmony, and enjoy rich heavenly ordained blessings.
We must not allow the statement from the above verse to slip by us, for within it is the key to receiving revelation, the revelation of the law of the Lord. The statement is “More are they to be desired”, What is that you are desiring, if it is not the law of the Lord then perhaps it is time to re-evaluated your priorities. All of what the Lord offers you is in His Word, all of your desire should be placed upon it. Psalm 37:3-5, “Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shall thou dwell in the land, and verily shalt thou be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord, and He shall give thee the desires of your heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord: trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass”. All desire must be formulated in God, and then, finalized, according to His Word and then success is sure to have its way in your life as it is fueled from the Word itself, becoming pure, holy, true and righteous.
The revelation of the law may be experienced best by a personal study of the Book of Psalms and especially the 119 Psalms. While you study it, be sure to keep your spiritual eyes open for lessons regarding the word of God from the following verses.
Vs.1, The law of the Lord.
Vs.3, Revelation of His ways. Vs.4, The code of His precepts.
Vs.5, A list of His statutes. Vs.9, The source of cleansing.
Vs.24, A ready counselor. Vs.25, The source of life.
Vs.28, A tower of strength. Vs.30, The way of truth.
Vs.40, The way of righteousness. Vs.41, The way of salvation.
Vs.49, The source of hope. Vs.52, The source of comfort.
Vs.70, A source of delight. Vs.72, Better than wealth.
Vs.76, The promise of mercies. Vs.98, The source of wisdom.
Vs.99, The source of knowledge. Vs.101, Obedience to the Word.
Vs.103, The pathway of life. Vs.111, The source of joy.
Vs.116, A help in a time of trouble. Vs.130, The source of light.
So cling to the word and know that through it you will be established, in all the gifts and calling of God, including revelation knowledge.
All too often we are negligent of not walking in the ways of the Lord, this basically is because we are not informed enough to know such ways, which are found is the Law of the Lord. The lack of information comes through choice, simply not wanting to know, through lethargy, simply not doing what we know, or, a combination of both. In order to receive revelation of God, we not only must know God as the Way, know the Law (Word of God), we must do that which we know. By having both the Way and Law settled forever within our hearts we will automatically walk in the ways of God.
3 John 2-4, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth”. King James Version. The first key we learn from this verse is that we are to walk in truth. Not a temporal truth, that is subject to change according to the whims and wishes of the one projecting what they call truth. All truth will withstand one test, does it come in line with what scripture has to say. If it does not then reject it entirely since it is not truth. Although the Watchtower has given itself the nickname “The Truth” it is quickly seen that it is not, nor can it be, while they advocate a doctrine of Theocratic Warfare, there is no truth in a lie.
Knowing truth, is the reason that we should learn not to trust our senses, for they will surely bring us to ruin. You see the senses will show you only that which you desire to see. The eyes may say to you that all you can see is all the world is made up of. We of course know that such a statement is false, yet we insist on saying “I’ll believe it when I see”, most of us have never seen the North or South poles yet we know that they exist, simply because they have been proven to do so. Truth is much deeper than the senses, the truth always shows the senses that there is a greater, much deeper way, the way of the Word. Should we not therefore walk in it, of course we should.
Isaiah has reminded us that God’s way is the better way to go. Isaiah 55:8-9,”For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are ways your ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts higher than your thoughts”. King James version. God way is the way of truth, then we must learn God’s way, through our own study of His Word. John 8:32 “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” King James Version (KJV) It is the truth that you know, that makes you free. Truth is always there, but if you do not know it, if you are ignorant to it, it can do you no good. The very reason you must allow the Holy Spirit to lead you and guide into all truth, and not some man made doctrine. Ephesians 1:13 “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,” King James Version (KJV) However, many have twisted this scripture and to form the opinion that “the truth will make you free”. Not so, it is the truth that you know is the truth makes you free. Many have died from what Jesus as Soterion freed them from, not because of His redeeming power did not work, rather because they lacked knowledge that it does work. To say “Jesus saves”, but not believe that Jesus heals is rejecting His work, and therefore it is rejecting the truth openly, causing the way to death by sickness and disease. It is the truth you know that makes you free.
Truth is the reality of every matter, or any situation. It takes the Word of God within our hearts to bring us into such a reality. We must develop the attitude that when all else is false, only God is truth, therefore we walk in the way of truth, as given to us by God through His Word and granted by the Soterion Jesus Christ, for He is the embodiment of truth.
Remember that as Soterion Jesus has declared,” I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh to the Father, but by me”. John 14:6. Therefore the truth that we know, what we must continue in, is that our life in Jesus Christ is one of victory, making Him Lord over all our ways. We must walk daily in His ways, following His steps, so that truth flows from us like a river of life.
We must choose to make the words of our mouth to be only that which is truth. We cannot establish any part of our lives upon that which may not be true. By speaking forth the Word of God, we cause ourselves to ever be in the covenant of God, we say like Solomon said in Proverbs 12:19a, “The lip of truth shall be established forever”. Choose the way of truth then speak it as if your entire life was dependent upon it, because it is.
We will find that truth will work its way of life, within our hearts. We need not, however, concern ourselves as some do, that just speaking the truth at all times will cause us to appear harsh, or unkind, cacophonous in nature, dictatorial in personality, deceived by the very truth we seek to walk in. Jesus had never been any of these, we are to emulate His life, we live like He lives. He has coupled truth with several other important ingredients, so that in truth we are free.
The Companions of Truth
Psalm 85:10, “Mercy and truth are met together, righteousness and peace have kissed each other”. King James Version. If we are to walk in the way of truth, we must do so through the power and ability of the Word of God, where the Word is, the truth will always be, accompanied by her three companions, mercy, righteousness and peace.
We must never forget that God showed us great mercy by sending Jesus as Soterion to us, giving us life, victory and success. This same mercy was then infused into our hearts by the Holy Spirit at the very moment we chose to live our lives in Christ Jesus. This same mercy should therefore be granted to all who may require it of us. Mercy coupled with truth becomes a power that any weapon Satan may have can overcome it. The Theocratic Warriors use of lies instead of truth, showing a merciless condition, harsh disfellowshipping, and its destruction of a person’s life is never done in Christ style truth, or with love, but simply to protect a standard of life that is clearly one that is not truthful.
Mercy is: compassion, forgiveness and kindness. Compassion is: the ability to experience what another is going through and have the power to change it. Forgiveness is: the wiping away of all wrong, the remission or pardon of all debt, to give up all claims on an account. Kindness is: showing one’s self as useful in any situation. Combining these, we formulate mercy.
Coupled, mercy and truth become an unstoppable force, designed to bring greater freedom to the heart of all who may walk in the their pathways. Psalm 25:10, “All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep His covenant and His testimonies”. Mercy and truth become unstoppable because God is unstoppable, His truth is marching on.
